As our Senior Marketing Manager at Octav, you will lead our marketing efforts and position Octav as the Web3 ecosystem's most trusted source for financial data. This role is ideal for an experienced marketing professional with a proven track record in B2B SaaS at a large software company. We are looking for someone who understands how to build and scale marketing strategies as part of a team and can inspire and guide others to achieve impactful results. You will shape our marketing vision, elevate our brand, drive user acquisition, and help propel Octav toward Series A funding.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Content and Product Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy spanning brand awareness, traffic growth, and user acquisition.
  • Tailor Octav’s product positioning to address key pain points and differentiate our offerings across target B2B audiences.
  • Optimize and manage all communication channels (content, social media, partnerships, and more) to drive platform traffic and increase user accounts.
  • Build integrated campaigns that combine content marketing, product marketing, and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Create and monitor KPIs for product and content marketing, ensuring consistent performance improvement across all channels.

Own Marketing Operations and Team Leadership

  • Lead the marketing team by fostering collaboration, guiding strategy, and overseeing execution across campaigns.
  • Manage and mentor the Social Media Manager and Video Editor, empowering them to deliver high-quality work that aligns with Octav’s goals.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and release of content, adjusting pillars and strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the marketing team.

Drive Innovation and Thought Leadership

  • Bring a large-software-company perspective to optimize processes, scaling marketing as a team leader.
  • Mentor junior team members while championing marketing best practices and encouraging open communication.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget strategically to maximize ROI and achieve impactful results.

Requirements:

  • B2B SaaS Expertise: Proven experience (4+ years) in marketing leadership roles within B2B SaaS at large software companies. Experience building and scaling marketing strategies as part of a team is essential.
  • Startup Mindset: Excited by the challenges and opportunities of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Marketing Leadership: A track record of successfully managing and growing a marketing team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Data-Driven: Skilled in setting up and managing KPI tracking tools like Gainsight, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Influencer Marketing Knowledge: Experience with sourcing, negotiating, and executing influencer campaigns is a plus.
